Creating a New Task on the Task Manager

1. Click on the Apps tab on your SparkChat app.
2. Select Task Manager. In the space provided that says Add a to-do’ enter the name of your new task. Once done, click on the Add to the right of your new task.
3. The task has been created. You can mark the task important on important by clicking on the ‘star’ icon to the right of each task entry. To set a due date, reminders and to add sub-tasks or notes click on the task entry.
4. To add a due date and time, click on the calendar icons next to each and set the date and time that you wish to set from the calendar and clock that pop up. Click on the ‘tick’ icon at the top right corner of your screen to confirm your changes
5. To add a sub-task, click on the sub-task field and enter the subtask you want to, once done, click on Add to the right of the Sub task entry. You can mark the Sub Task important by clicking on the Star icon next to the sub task entry.
6. To add a reminder, click on the drop down next to reminder and choose a reminder that suits you. Click on the Save button below Sub Tasks to save your changes
7. You can add a description to the tasks or subtask or add notes in the description section within the app. Click on the ‘tick’ icon at the top right corner of your screen to confirm your changes.
8. You can choose a file to share related to the task at hand by choosing to upload a file from your device. Click on the Choose File button to begin this. Once you’ve chosen the file you want, click on the Upload button to share it with all the team members assigned to the task.
9. you can even chat with relation to the specific task. Simply type your message in the Comment section at the bottom of the task entry page and click on Submit. Each message will be shared with all team members assigned to the task
10. You can also delete a task by clicking on the ‘delete’ icon at the bottom of the page and confirming the action.
